Life can be challenging and unpredictable and everyone can benefit from learning new tools to implement in their life. My practice focuses on adults, adolescents, pre-teens and families. My five-year experience as an intern at the Bill Wilson Center gave me significant opportunity to help adolescents and their families improve their relationships, as well as work with adult individuals. My time serving with The Centre for Living With Dying gave me a unique perspective and compassion for the grieving process as I helped many individuals, families, and groups manage through their loss. I also worked as a school counselor at a local middle school and understand the challenges faced by our youth.
Work with each individual adult, teen, preteen, or family begins by creating a safe and welcoming environment where trust can be built. Many useful methods come into play with clients to effectively address their issues and concerns. Every client is unique and, therefore, so is the approach to their therapy.
